Our family thanks you for your purchase, but especially for your timely payment! :) ** **Be sure to add me to your favorites list!** **As promised, here is some information on how you as a buyer can do your part to keep your favorite sellers on eBay! eBay's feedback policy can have potentially drastic results for your favorite small sellers. Feedback should be the opinions of 2 people involved in a transaction and yet eBay (in it's infinite wisdom, lol) has made it so much more. Did you know that it takes only 1 sour grape in 20 transactions to get your favorite seller suspended? In any rolling 30 day window, if a seller's DSRs (Detailed Seller's Ratings) fall below 4.5 in ANY category, they can no longer qualify for any discounts. Also, in any 30 days, if a seller's DSR rating falls below 4.3 in any one category, they are suspended. 4.3! Doesn't matter what the reason is because there is absolutely no recourse or moderation from eBay. That means a competitor (yes, it has happened to me,) a competitor's friend, someone who is having a bad day, or someone who just doesn't understand how eBay works can put your favorite seller on "vacation," possibly permanently! Unless you have a horrid experience with a seller, let me suggest that you just click on the right hand stars when leaving feedback. And I'll explain why: The Detailed Seller's Ratings are eBay's way of getting sellers to improve their customer service and to rid itself of bad sellers (so they say.) However, because of the vague wording, it does not work! *I have been on eBay for a long time and also regularly buy as well as sell. I have NEVER received the kind of customer service that I extend to you, my valued customer. *So let me lay out my responsibilities to you and what I expect from you: 1. My Responsibility: this item will arrive to you as described Your responsibility: to be objective and rate this item's description by the listing--not by how much you liked/disliked it or how big/small you thought it would be (remember that I'll include any flaws that I see as well as accurate dimensions) 2. My Responsibility: I will let you know when I am shipping your item (usually next business day) as well as promptly answer any questions you may have Your Responsibility: to keep me informed of any potential problems with this transaction especially if I have made a mistake in some way (yes, I am human after all!) 3. My Responsibility: to get your item out my door and to the Post Office as quickly as possible (usually next business day) Your Responsibility: to rate how quickly I shipped your item--NOT how long the Post Office takes to get it to you, lol 4. My Responsibility: to ship your package as specified in the listing Your Responsibility: Personally, I would so much rather have you rate how beautifully I packaged your purse rather than how much shipping is. I think most people are smart enough to realize that shipping is expensive, not to mention the packaging materials inside the box and the time and gas it takes to travel to the Post Office. When a buyer bids, they are agreeing to terms, including shipping. Why complain after the fact?! JMHO, of course! :) Wow! I apologize if that sounded snarky, lol! To sum it up, "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." I'm trying to do my part to educate my special people, one bidder/buyer at a time. Won't you do yours?
